Read about demolitions in the Bedouin encampment of Khan al-Ahmar, which is located between Kfar Adumim and Ramallah. All the Bedouin encampments in this area are in danger of expulsion.

Three houses of wood and tin, belonging to 3 brothers were demolished on October 31^st. The families will move into tents supplied by the UN. The brothers are Sleinan, Suleiman and Mohamed Salim. At least 21 children, one with epilepsy, and a pregnant women were forced to sleep outdoors.  They have lived in Khan al-Ahmar for more than 26 years.

When the security forces came arrived in the morning only one older woman and two children were in present. According to a testimony, male soldiers and a female soldier held her back and after the demolition was completed, allowed her to sit down.

We suspect that this demolition in Khan al-Ahmar took place as part of a greater political plan to break the Palestinian territorial sequence in the area of Maale Adumim.
