Credit: Emil Salman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div>Yotam Berger Aug 21, 2017 2:18 AM<\/div>\n<div>Israel Threatens to Demolish Bedouin Homes Despite High Court Order<\/div>\n<div>In legal spat, Civil Administration says Bedouin groups are playing for time and not addressing the issue in disputed E1 area near Ma\u2019aleh Adumim<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.haaretz.com\/misc\/tags\/israel-high-court-1.478815\">High Court of Justice<\/a> has forbidden the demolition of Bedouin homes in the E1 area near Ma\u2019aleh Adumim until it is determined whether they can be legalized. However, the Israeli army\u2019s Civil Administration in the West Bank is threatening to destroy them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A group of Bedouin from Jabal Baba and Bir Al-Maskub are waging a legal battle after the Oversight Subcommittee in Judea and Samaria \u2013 a Civil Administration body \u2013 threatened to destroy their homes.
